Yum
Matteo e Enzo estao experimentando varias comidinhas novas. Nesse dia tinham provado batata doce. Delicia pura! O Enzo come super bem, nao suja quase nada. Ja o Matteo, faz uma bagunca danada. Ele come o babador, a colher, a mao...
Thank God for swings!
The babies NEVER nap at the same time. This is one of the challenges with twins. There is absolutely no down time for mom. The only time that I can get both boys to nap is when they are swinging. Needless to say, I really love those swings! Thank-you, Lori, for knowing this before I thought about it and giving me the other swing! They wake up happy and mom is refreshed!
5 MONTHS OLD and 5 1/2 yrs old!!!!!!
My little men are growing up! All 3 of them looked very grown-up today, perhaps because Matteo and Enzo are now 5 months old and Nicolas is now 5 AND A HALF years old. That one half is a big deal in kindergarten! The babies were wearing mini grown-up pants and shoes for the first time today. For Nicolas, even size 6 or 7 pants are short sometimes! Wow! Here are pictures to mark my words. We had a great day. No school for Nico today. We picked-up a package from Vovo' and Vov^o with gifts. Nicolas got a Max Steel and babies got teethers they LOVED and socks. Pictures below. Obrigado! I had all 3 at my dentist appointment today, and it went remarkably smooth. LOTS of planning before we left. Everyone was well-fed and happy so that I could get through the appointment. The receptionist, a mom of twins herself, even congratulated us on being early. We had a long walk around Arbor Lakes and could feel Fall in the air with a crisp 50 degrees. Nicolas had a caramel apple and overall, we just had fun. Makes it easier to go back to school tomorrow.
Tomatoes
End of Summer and we are enjoying the tomatoes Papa planted for us when he was visiting from Arkansas. These won't last much longer in Minneapolis. I will try to bring them inside, but am afraid there may not be enough sunshine to let them last. Nicolas is enjoying picking and eating them! So am I! Delicious! Thanks, Papa!

Friday at the Park
We have to enjoy the "crispy" Autumn weather in Minneapolis while it lasts. Snow may come as early as October, so any sunny and warm day has to be appreciated. This past Friday we spent some time at the park. Matteo and Enzo were in Awe of the wind. They had not experienced such a strong breeze yet and loved it.
Enzo thought the wind was strange and wanted to figure out where this was coming from. He had a very inquisitive look.
Matteo just thought it tickled and it made him smile (what doesn't everything?).
Nicolas had fun on the swings. He also helped me get the babies on the swings for the first time. Here are the boys enjoying the swings:
Fall 2008
Our September started with Nicolas starting KINDERGARTEN at Rogers Elementary School. Wow, he is such a big boy! His teacher is Mrs. Glew. He now has music, gym and art classes. However, the most exciting parts of Kindergarten are by far HOT LUNCHES and RIDING THE BUS. Recess is pretty popular also. Nicolas was ready to go to school. There were NO TEARS and he was very brave getting on the bus. We are so proud of him! He has school full day every other day. The other days he is home with me and his brothers. He still loves being home and playing with his toys.

TGIF
It's finally Friday! Although some of us are exhausted (I'll let you guess who. Here is a hint: there are only 2 of us!), it is party day at our house. Tonight, the party is to watch the new Disney series "The Suite Life on Deck". Exciting stuff! Nicolas loves to host a party, or maybe this is just an excuse to stay up later.
Welcome to Our Family Blog
Please check-out our pictures and movies. It is a great way for us to feel closer to our friends and family that are far away. We miss you all! Leave a comment. We love to hear from you.
